Favorite Vignette?
We have been reading The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. What is your favorite vignette so far and why? If you don’t remember the name of it, describe it. Try to remember as many details as you can.
My favorite vignette is Darius and the Clouds because it is about a bully who acually said somthing wise. He said that cloud is God and God is the creater of the clouds. That is my favorite vignette.
My favorite vignette so far in the book is Louie, his cousin and his other cousin. I picked this vignette, because it was interesting to find out that not many people back in the time that had a different background/culture, did not have many things. Also it was interesting to find that people that lived in such urban areas did not have cars with all the automatic things, also that they saw many people going to jail that is was not a shock for them to see one of their friends to go to jail. This is my favorite vignette so far in the book, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros.
my favorite vignette is geroldo and his name because someone is murdered in a hit and run by the name of geroldo and maron spends her time trying to figure out his last name
My favorite is when Esperanza tries to get a job. When she tries to look older because she needs to be a certain age. She is naive because the guy asked her for a birthday kiss on the cheek but the guy grabs her and kissed her on the lips.

My favorite vignette is My Name because in this vignette we learn a lot about the character and the character's struggle in the story.
